DIANE SLACK RECEIVES PRISM INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Diane Slack, Vice President and Sales Manager for Midwest Record Storage in Lincoln, Illinois was one of six Volunteer of the Year Award Recipients at the recently concluded PRISM International 30th Annual Conference in Reno, Nevada. The award was presented on Wednesday, May 12, during the Annual Business Meeting luncheon of the organization.
In presenting the award Dave Heric, DataSite Northwest, Seattle, WA, recognized Slack’s significant contributions to the organization as chairman of the PRISM International Task Group 4 on Website, Marketing and Public Relations. “Diane has been leading the way in providing education to our members on using our online community. Her guidance, energy and leadership have made a real difference to members of PRISM International and we recognize her efforts with this award,” Heric said.
In addition to her duties as a PRISM International task group chair, Slack has also served as Great Lakes Region Coordinator for ARMA International, served on the ARMA International Program Committee and most recently the ARMA International Awards Committee and has been active as a member and in multiple leadership roles in the Central Illinois chapter of ARMA International.
PRISM (Professional Records and Information Services Management) International is a not-for-profit trade association serving commercial records centers, data protection companies, imaging and conversion companies and confidential destruction operations in more than 60 countries. The organization is headquartered in North Carolina and maintains a secretariat in Brussels, Belgium.

Lincoln, IL August 26, 2006 – Midwest Records Storage, Inc. has announced it is adding 16,000 square feet to its existing 12,000 square foot building located on the west side of Lincoln.The state-of-the-art facility houses hard copy records, computer tapes and media and is equipped with digital video monitoring, central alarm services, a back-up generator, fire suppression system and GPS units in all company vehicles.
MRS is the leader in commercial records storage and information management in Central Illinois serving over 200 clients representing major business, healthcare, insurance, legal and financial firms.Diane Slack, Vice President and Sales Manager, states that “Companies today are required to store their documents and computer tapes off-site for Disaster Recovery and security reasons.This expansion will meet the needs of existing clients as well as the needs of new clients outsourcing their records and information management programs for the first time.The addition will be completed in January of 2007.”
